In July 2008 fourteen of us ventured out to Ghana to see
our friend Isaac who had worked with us in England for
three years.
While there we worked with youth groups sharing our cultures, we did tree planting and helped to refurbish a children's home by putting in new wash rooms and toilets, providing a cooker, decorating and replacing the 129 broken windows. Since our return we have sponsored the build of a safe children's play area and put electricity in.
Our time was awesome, with plenty of challenges to face on the way. We believe that these adventures provide deep growth in a persons soul as much as helping young people to see how others less privileged live so as to help us appreciate more what we are so blessed to have. We thanks those generous people who help by sponsoring these life changing experiences.
